Sengled smart light bulbs are a great starting point to test smart lighting in your home. They’re budget-friendly, easy to set up and will last at least eight years. And if you don’t have a smart hub - no problem. Sengled light bulbs operate through WiFi so you don’t need a hub!
In the box, you’ll find a card directing you to Sengled’s website for setup instructions. From there, it’s really straight forward. Install the app on your smartphone, then update the settings directly from your handset.
Sengled’s basic bulbs are available in soft white or colour and boast a reasonable 800 lumens. For a price tag of around £9.50 on Google Prime, Sengled WiFi Smart bulbs offer exceptional value for money - especially when you consider you will get around 25,000 hours out of juice out of them.
Sengled may not have advanced built-in features as some of the other top-of-range brands such as Philip’s Hue Smart and LIFX but they have a decent selection that is not to be scoffed at.
